ALAN: Talent-scout and superstar manager living well beyond his means in a squalid mansion at the edge of the fast lane. DITCH: A 16-year-old recurring amnesiac living with Connee on memory lane. His constant companion: a Sony Walkman with "orientation tape" endlessly reminding him of who he is, where he lives, and where he's going. LUDEEN: Hairdresser, jogger, undercover agent for the police. She's smart, sexy, gossipy, and she's on to Alan and Lil's no-good schemes. Living on the bike path. NADEEN: Ludeen's sister and Ditch's counselor -- skyrocketed to National Enquirer fame after undergoing a not-altogether successful medical experiment to implant a bionic powerpack.
